Where do you ship to?

We ship worldwide.

For local (Singapore) delivery, we only do main island delivery and do not deliver to restricted areas within Singapore. Refer to this link for the list of restricted area that we do not deliver to.

For overseas shipping, please refer to Table 1 below to locate the region your area of residence falls under, then scroll down to Table 2 for the shipping rates that apply to your region.

If you experience any difficulties during ordering, please e-mail us at auntie@startingplayer.com. As we are located in Singapore and are probably in a different time zone from you, we may not be able to respond to you immediately. We seek your understanding and endeavour to reply your e-mail as soon as possible.

Which courier will you be using to ship the games?

We are utilising Ta-Q-Bin for local (Singapore) delivery. You may refer to the Ta-Q-Bin website for more information.

We are utilising Speedpost Standard or TNT Economy Express for overseas shipping (subject to our discretion). You may refer to SingPost and TNT websites for more information.

 

What is the shipping cost for each copy of Three Kingdoms Redux purchased?

Local delivery

There are 2 options available for local (Singapore) delivery:

i) Door to door delivery via Ta-Q-Bin: Delivery cost of SGD $5 (This delivery cost will be waived if you purchase 2 or more copies of Three Kingdoms Redux)

For door to door delivery via Ta-Q-Bin, please select “Paypal” as your payment mode during checkout. You will be re-directed to Paypal’s website for payment using either Paypal or your preferred credit/debit card.

ii) Self-collection at our designated location (Clementi or Kembangan MRT Station): Free

For self-collection, please select “Cash on Delivery” as your payment mode during checkout. You will only need to pay the price of the game(s) when we meet up for the game collection.

Overseas delivery

Please refer to Table 2 below for the overseas shipping rate of each copy of Three Kingdoms Redux. We have a special deal for bulk purchases (6 or more copies). Buy in bulk and enjoy huge savings!

How long does it take for the games to reach my designated location?

Local delivery

For local (Singapore) door-to door delivery via Ta-Q-Bin, it will be a next working day delivery if you place your order before 11am. Otherwise, it will be delivered 2 working days after your date of order.

For self-collection, we will contact you to make arrangements for the collection date and time at Clementi or Kembangan MRT Station.

Overseas delivery

Please refer to Table 3 below for the overseas shipping duration to each region. Please also include an additional 1-5 days for our handling and packing.

We endeavour to process your order as quickly as possible. However, as we are still a small setup, processing time may increase when there are more orders. We appeal and thank you for your understanding.

If you do not receive your order within the estimated duration, please e-mail auntie@startingplayer.com. We will follow up with our service providers on the delivery status and provide you with an update. All items may be subject to customs inspection, which may cause further delays that are beyond our control.

If you prefer expedited delivery, please e-mail auntie@startingplayer.com to request for a separate quote. In your e-mail, please include your preferred courier company and speed of service. Do note however that this will be a more expensive option.

Note: Please also include your contact number within your order to avoid any delay in delivery. We will include your contact number on the shipping label in case the courier company need to contact you regarding the delivery.

 

Why is the shipping cost for 1 copy of Three Kingdoms Redux so expensive?

Each copy of Three Kingdoms Redux weighs 2.2kg. The total weight will be approximately 3kg after including the free illustration booklet, protection for the game and the carton box.

We understand that the high shipping rate for a single copy purchase is a concern for fellow boardgamers. We are therefore charging reduced rates from SingPost’s/TNT’s overseas courier rates and adsorbing part of the shipping costs.

In addition, the shipping rate per copy reduces significantly with purchase of more copies of the game. We therefore encourage you to consider arranging with boardgamers from your immediate area for a bulk purchase so that savings on shipping may be enjoyed by all.

 

Why is the shipping cost for bulk purchases (6 copies or more) much lower or even free for the various regions?

As per SingPost’s/TNT’s overseas courier rates, the shipping rate per copy reduces as total shipping weight increases. We are passing on these cost savings to you, leading to much lower shipping rates with bulk purchases.

We hope by adsorbing as much of the shipping cost for you as we can possibly bear, shipping costs will reduce to become only a minor factor in your game purchase decision.

 

Are you able to provide me with a tracking number?

Yes. We will e-mail you the tracking number once your order is in the mail.

For local (Singapore) delivery, you can visit Ta-Q-Bin website and enter the tracking number to track the status of the shipment.

For overseas delivery, you can visit SingPost website or TNT website (which we will notify you via email) and enter the tracking number to track the status of the shipment.

 

Can you mark my international order as a gift?

Unfortunately, no. We label all international packages as containing “Board Games” and the actual cost of the games is declared on the customs documentation. Even if the order is meant as a gift, the package cannot be labelled as a gift for shipping purposes because we are a retailer. The full cost of the games will still be stated on the customs documentation.

 

Are my taxes and custom fees included in my international shipping cost?

No. Your package may be subject to custom duties, import VAT/GST and other related fees once it reaches your designated location. These additional charges for customs clearance are always the recipient’s responsibility; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you may want to contact your local customs office for further information.
